My first post in Local Guides Connect
Well, Last year 2022 my family and I went to Sylhet, specifically “Sadapathor”. It was the rainy season, that’s why we enjoyed the environment and also the rain. All day long we felt raindrops, the raindrops sound came to us in many different ways.
How to get there? The end of Sylhet-Companiganj-Bholaganj highway, Bholaganj is 41 km from Sylhet Town. One can rent a car or microbus for a day trip for only 2500-3000 taka. Local bus or CNG Auto-rickshaw can be taken from Ambarkhana. It normally takes an hour and a half from Sylhet. The CNG Auto-rickshaw rental for a full-day is approximately 1000-1500 taka. Bus fare is 50-60 taka per person. (All fare costs are approximate. It could be higher than previous because of inflation)
Okay let me explain the beauty of Sadapathor. Sadapathor is situated in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya, India. So you can enjoy the view of Meghalaya Mountain range, Clouds and trees. In this Place there is also the Sadapathor Hotel. You can enjoy the view of “Seven Sisters Waterfall, India” from the rooftop of this hotel.
One Interesting thing I noticed when I was going to Sadapathar, a grave. A lonely grave in the middle of water and the tree rose from the grave.
