These pictures were taken at the Saline River in AR
One morning was taking during the snow and one was taking during the fall. Absolutely beautiful! Debating on whether or not to put it in the fair competition for photography.

Regarding the contents, @Copelin , both your photos are beautiful.
I can’t debate about partecipate in a photo contest (last time I was on an exhibition with my photos was five years ago) but for sure I am curious about the amazing place where you took the photos.
Unfortunately, as you didn’t shared any link to find the place in Maps, I tried through your profile, but I wasn’t able to find them. Could you please share a link to the place.
As you posted in travel, I am quite sure that a lot of people would love to explore the location, and maybe also to plan a visit.
Do you have any tips about visiting the area. We are Local Guides, isn’t it?
Do you know that also in Natural features it is possible to add photos? Saline river is indeed one of them (https://goo.gl/maps/MCgW2fyj6nYwhAyg9). The photos will not be positioned in the correct point, but for sure deserves to be there.
Five years ago I wanted to write a post to close a series started on 2016, about the four seasons along the Sile River: Beautiful Restera - a walk along the Sile River - Winter . The idea of sharing stories in Connect, instead of just dropping photos, is what I suggest you to follow. As we are a worldwide community we can share in here our unique point of view of the places that we know.
At first I had no idea about how much this can help in building relationship. As a result, a small city that is unknown for most of the world become the destination of a Lot of Local Guides from all over the world: Treviso - The town where the Local Guides meet
Hope this can inspire you and, as @TiffanyStockstill said, don’t get discouraged if at the beginning just a few respond on your posts. Building friendships is a matter of time, contents and patience. I’ve spent a lot of time reading and commenting in posts in Connect, and I’ve learned a lot about the world around me.
