BEAT 1932 - A Capsule Hostel in the Cultural Hub of Singapore

Hostels are a boon to solo budget travelers like me.

BEAT 1932 is the most amazing hostel I have stayed at globally. Their service was top-notch, and the staff was very friendly and prompt.

The people at the front desk are helpful and patient with the guests.

:teddy_bear: The hostel has every amenity that a visitor would need.

:clinking_beer_mugs: The hostel also has a bar and cafe built into its lower floor.

The hostel has complimentary breakfast every morning from 8 am to 10 am

They also provide razors, earplugs, earbuds, and all such utilities free of cost.

:bed:The capsule beds were super comfortable, clean, and hygienic.

:key: The access was easy.

:shower: The toilets and showers were very nice, with both cold and hot water showers available 24x7.

:desktop_computer: The only thing they should change is the location of the front desk, which was inside a cafe. The owner of the cafe is not tolerant of anyone sitting there for a moment without ordering.

 Nearby activities

Chinatown is across the street, and the top attractions in Singapore are within walking distance.

:person_walking: Walkability

The BEAR 1932 hostel is just 100 meters from the nearest metro station.

Also, there are bus stops nearby.

Food and drinks

A free drinking water facility is available in the pantry.

Noteworthy Details

It is located at a very good place, close to the Chinatown market, the metro stations, food joints, and also the top attractions in Singapore are walkable

Some quiet, secluded streets are also on the back side of the hostel.

Also, popular tourist attractions in Singapore, like the Merlion, are within walking distance.

I also found a temple not very far from the hostel.

Hostel highlights

Great views outside the hostel made it an enjoyable stay for me.

Thank you very much, @TusharSuradkar Bhai, for posting about this hostel and letting us know about it.

You might be surprised to know that right across from this hostel stand a mosque and a Hindu temple side by side. They were donated by two brothers from the same family (Tamil Muslims) one for the mosque and the other for the temple.

While I was living in Singapore, I actually visited that mosque once on a Friday to offer my prayers.

Thanks once again!
