Well the title tells it, yeah nearly all of my friends questioning myself why I want to bother myself to be a guide for GMaps, like volunteering write a lot of reviews, add some photos, or videos, edit some errors on some places (like fixing location accuracy or open - close hours), answer some questions, or even add some missing place.
It was like that i dont have anything important to do rather than let myself in contributing in GMaps. Well I told them, actually these are important because i want to share my thoughts to the world, share my recommendations, or even helping a newly small business into the Google so everyone knows that place is exist in this world. Its like we were helping them to enhance their possibility of gaining new customers with our only phone and internet.
There are so many small business that I added and they nodded that their business gain a rise for customers because the customers know these business were available on Maps and its easier to find rather than expecting and remembers where the exact place was.
Likewise, the main point is I want to help people especially adding some small business into Google because they need a hand for this technology era. (Nearly most of Indonesians didnt know about GMaps or how to add their own place in the Maps because its tiring and need an English knowledge). Thus write some honest review from my point of view in a paragraph, not only write of a short like fast review to gain Gmap points.
For a real deal, a lot of small business that cant be judged by its cover. Many of them got a good products with competitive price or even cheaper. These kind of thing that i want to help to be known at Gmaps.
This is why this is my passion for being a Google Guide to helps these small business to be known in the world.
