Hello everyone This is Rafsanjani Rana from BDLG (Bangladesh Local Guide) Community inform you that we passed amazing time with 51 local guides came around the country. We already know Connect Live 2019 is knocking at the door. Some of our guides are going to join there in November. I also applied but not enough qualified for attend this year program but as part of my contribution and activity I as well as BDLG arranged a delightful meet-up called “pre-connect meet-up 19”. As 100th meet-up I join here as presenter of the program and I love to do it. I’m really thankful to the meet-up host @anazizullah for give me the opportunity.
We started just 3:15pm by registration and ended up at 8:30pm. A well decorated restaurant what we choose for today’s program. Normally this kind of meet-up is very entertaining rather than our other meet-up. Because here we talk about just Connect live, Connect forum and networking. You guys are already seen the tittle about this meet-up that is actually discussion about Connect live.
We believe attendees are really enjoyed this kind of meet-up because they wanted to know how can they (who’s got CL19 Ticket) manage their contribution profile, connect forum activity and the community enter action.
Three local guides are got the chance to attend connect live but only @MahabubMunna got his visa. @LyricMitra and Farhana Rupa couldn’t manage their visa for some official purpose. However, they share their journey of contribution and share some tips manage contribution profile. I took some question from attendees and asked them and they answered the questions. On and around 10 local guides came for the first time and they much more capable for better contribution of maps. So we hope we are getting some gems from them.
There were two breaks for food and discuss each other. We provide halal food for all. One of our local guide manage some gift for attendee and we distribute those for them.

The entire week I looked forward to attend this meetup virtually and this morning I woke up at 9. Mahabub told me earlier that the program would end by 6.30 pm, which is 8.30am Florida time. So I thought I missed the chance of attending it. I wish I called you guys right after waking up.
Glad to know that the program went smooth and well. It was great seeing few of you, for a very short time though after the program. Thank you for the detailed post. Looking forward to see the photos too.

@SoniaK আপু মিটআপ শেষ করে বের হয়েই দেখি বাইরে বৃষ্টি। সবার বাসায় যেতে অনেক লেট হয়েছে। এখনো ক্যামেরার কোন ছবি আপ হয়নি। সেগুলো আপ হলে আর কিছু ইনফো এড করে দিবো । আমি আর @SunMoon @ লঞ্চে করে বাড়ি ফিরছি। তাইলে অল্প সময়ে নদীর ঢেউ এর শব্দ শুনতে শুনতে লিখে ফেললাম । সামনের ২/৩ দিন একটু ব্যস্ত থাকতে হবে।
আয়োজনের একটা বড় অংশ আপনারা। সামনের দিনে আপনাদের ব্যবস্থপনায় আমরা অতিথি হতে চাই। বাংলাদেশ লোকাল গাইড একটি উন্মুক্ত প্ল্যাটফর্ম যেখানে সবাই কাজ করার সুযোগ রাখে। @Mehedi_Murad_92

It was a great meet up as usual but it was special for me as I have attended there as a connect live’2019 attendee and as a core team member. Thank you @RafsanRana vai for giving me such honor to say something in front of all local guides presented there. And obviously your presentation was very nice.
