Over the past year, Indonesia has been hit by extraordinary natural disasters. Every time we get news of floods, landslides, tornadoes, tidal waves / tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and forest fires. Thousands displaced. Hundreds of houses and public facilities were damaged in one fell swoop.
Concerned about the disaster, Batu Local Guides, which was celebrated on January 8, 2019, held an awareness movement involved with Sabers Pungli and various communities in Batu City and Malang, in the Synergy Concern for Ecology, on Sunday, January 13, 2019 , in Sumber Binangun, Bumiaji Village, Batu City.
This collaboration action was attended by 105 Batu Local Guides members, Sabers Pungli activist, and participants from the community:

In this event, participants gathered at the Binangun Source belonging to the Malang City PDAM, which is one of 7 sources in the region, and serves drinking water needs for Malang residents. Cleaning and planting of tree seedlings is carried out here. After that, the event continued with a salvation of 7 water sources, led by the Batu City cultural observer who was also a member of Batu Local Guides, Achmad Berlin Rifai.
During the event, the committee provides cakes, lunch menus and environmentally friendly drinks. The container is only a banana leaf with a magic spoon that can be recycled, drink it in a gallon container which can be poured enough into the drinking water that is brought by each participant.
After the series of events at Sumber Air Binangun were completed, participants were directed to the Slamet Omah Budaya, to take part in a cultural discussion. This discussion is unique, because it will unravel the river culture in Batu City and flow to several cities in East Java. The event was closed symbolically by cutting the cone, as a congratulation to the Batu local Guides who celebrated their second anniversary with an extraordinary event. Some lucky participants, got a doorproze from the committee and sponsors, after giving reviews and adding photos through the Google Maps application throughout the venue.
Hopefully, all activities that have been implemented can provide more benefits.
And hopefully, what all we have done has also contributed positively to Batu City.
