What I like most about living in Lebanon is summer time. In Lebanon, we have almost 5 months of good sunny weather and a good beach is one hour, one hour and a half drive with all the traffic.
Beaches in Lebanon are all over the coast. Today I am sharing a weekend in Batroun.
We all wait for Saturdays to finish things we couldn’t do during the week. So if in Beirut, you can do this and at 5 pm drive to Batroun, you arrive around 6.30 pm, time to watch the sunset.
I chose to go to Bolero a new colorful place, very chill, the sea is in from of you. You can just sit and watch.
I chose to spend the night there so I will be ready for the sea the next morning. There are a lot of hotels, apartments on Airbnb. One place caught my attention: Mayouli
It is a bed and breakfast place, convenient for couples, friends, families who want to spend the night in a lovely atmosphere.
I love this @CatherineKh ! You described Beirut with such beautiful passion that I was following your words like a dream! Keep it coming as Beirut is one city close to my heart! We were fund raising in Paris for the Cross of All Nations in Qanat Bakish, near Baskinta where I went to with my parents in 2010.
Thanks for sharing such wonderful descriptions and photos of Beirut!
I envy your summers @CatherineKh , in Denmark we’re lucky to have one month of consistent sunny weather. Batroun looks amazing though, and if I could pack my bags and go right now, I would!
Personally I can’t lay on a sunbed for more than a few hours a day. I have to get out and explore whatever my destination has to offer.
Hi @CatherineKh ! Batroun looks very relaxing, but also with a very fun side as you described the beach. I love the way you wrote about the atmosphere of each place.
Thank you for sharing this pretty place with us, and congrats on it being picked as a favorite for this week’s Friday’s Favorites!
