I think one way we can utilize google maps as a community is locating basketball hoops in local parks!
Local parks are one of the most overlooked locations in Google Maps as far as reviews and pictures go. My friends and I are always looking for a good park to play pickup basketball in and I think it is way harder than it should be. What parks have hoops? What parks have hoops that aren’t broken? What parks have hoops and lights!? I used to turn satellite view on in maps to try to find this out but it is way to cumbersome. Google guides community has an opportunity here to better identify the amenities provided at our local parks so we can stay active and informed, that is one of the many reasons I love sharing on Google Maps!
