This week the Word Baseball Classic start on several locations.
And Puerto Rico is going to be participating, as they finished sub- champion on the last tournament.
There is 20 teams playing this 2023 tournament. Divided in 4 groups, and played at Phoenix, Miami, Taiwan, and Tokyo.
With a starting salary of $700,000.
USD , to play in the U.S. Major Leagues, here in Puerto Rico there is few academies that are specialized on Baseball.
Within 1 mile from my house you can find the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy. With almost 20 year teaching to high schoolers the principles of Baseball.
As they describe on their web page, they have indoor facilities to let the kids practice, and also the Municipality of Caguas Baseball park available for exterior practice.
With already in his alumni list, about 9 Baseball player. One of the most notorious is Carlos Correa, who played for the Astros Team and was one of the player who represent the Puerto Rico team at the 2017 World Baseball Classic…
