Bargarh is Orissa’s small town, samalai mandir is famous here , people used to worship here before starting any auspicious work, Dhanujatra is a festival celebrated here ,it is a 10 days long festival. It is celebrated for win over evil - Lord Krishna defeated his evil uncle Kansa . A grand mela is arranged people from entire India comes to sell their products - toys , artificial jewellery, ayurvedic medicine , furniture etc , language of this area is Sambalpuri. World famous Sambalpuri sarees are exported from here. People are simple ,humble ,honest &helpful .
