Barcelona’s Best Music Venues List

Finding a live music venue in Barna isn’t hard. Finding a good one for your musical style / budget is. I created an insiders guide to Barcelona’s known and best kept secret music venues. They include bars, restaurants & music venues. I’m eligible to talk about this as I’ve been an amateur and pro live musician in the city playing various styles. Here’s the list. Each is categorized by music style, you’ll find metal, hip hop, jazz, rap, pop, indie, world music and more.

There’s a reason why some of these haven’t made the cut. Those that did have great acoustics, sound desks & owners who put musicians & audience’s enjoyment first, rather than cash. I selected the venues based on acoustics so it doesn’t matter where you sit / stand you’ll have great sound.

For personal favorites, I warm to nota 79 and sala bikini. If you want to be on top of good musicians, while enjoying good tapas with few tourists La Granota is worth it.

Enjoy, comment and share :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello @Phunky ,

Thank you for sharing your list and great tips on finding a music venue in Barcelona. Do you happen to have any photos from a place where you like to go?

P.S. I relabeled your post to Local Stories as it could be useful for other Local Guides who are looking for something different in the area.

Hey @MoniDi

Thanks for the reclassification, TBH I’m always confused. Something I hope to get down at CL2019. For photos, nearly most of the venues feature my photos. Here’s three of my favourite venues and artists I caught there.
