#Bapu Museum [3/3]

In this post, I would like to show some pictures related to objects like china plates, tray, box, cot legs (15th - 19th Centuries) and War objects (18th - 19th century) like swords, spear cannon, Daggers, Guns,… Bapu Museum, Vijayawada.

Porcelain and Metal:

These Porcelain objects are used for eating food items, drinking purposes, decorative things like keeping plants and flowers in it, metal items like cot legs for support and more.

Warrior with Horse:

Armaments:

Before going to war Soldiers wear those protective metal made objects from the enemies. Here we observe metal made objects like Helmet, Vest, swords, shields and more.

Swords:

Different types of swords were used in the 18th - 19th century for various purposes for example if an Enemy is there in long-distance then Spear is used, if Enemy is near then Swords are used and If the Enemy is too near the Daggers are used.

Q) Which metal was used for making swords and knives?

copper or bronze.

Bow and Arrows:

In this picture, we observe mainly Bows, Arrows and Shield. Bow made with Wood and tie with strong thread, Arrows are made with wood and metal at Front and Wing feathers at end, Shield made with Metal like copper.

Guns:

Different types of guns and pistons were used in the 118th century

Hand cannon is used to fire and it is flexible to rotate in any direction instantly and fire.

Cannon and Cannon shell:

These Cannon and Cannon’s shells were used in the 17th - 18th Century. It is a large tubular firearm designed to fire a heavy projectile over a long distance.

There were two types of cannon shells (Bullet and Ball), inside which gunpowder is present. These firearms belong to the 18th - 19th century.
