#Bapu Museum [2/3]

This is the second part about Bapu Museum (2 of 3), Kindly click Here for the previous post (1 of 3)

In this post, I shall tell you about Ancient Human life, Modern Indian & British Indian coins, Gold coins, the Dressing style of women and Paintings.

**Q)**Why do we need to know about our history?

Studying ancient history helps you to know how we transformed over the past decades. It helps you to compare and analyze the differences between the two eras.

Ancient Human life:

This picture tells us the total lifestyle of ancient humans like animal hunting, how to generate fire, preparing food by cooking animals, creating blades or other hunting equipment from stones, etc. Here you can notice that a young boy is learning from an older person.

Q) How they were communicating with each other?

Through the pictorial representation on rocks, body signs or gestures, whispers, etc

Pots:

These types of pots were used for cooking food, storing drinking water and raw or cooked food.

Q) What objects they used for Hunting, Cooking and Shelter ?

Hunting - Blades made of Stones, Stone Axes, copper adze, ring stones, sickles, etc.

Cooking - In pots, Animal and Birds through hunting.

Shelter - Under the Rocks, trees, inside of caves, Huts.

Objects of Ancient Human:

These pictures tell us about the ancient human shelter (huts), Hunting equipment like sickles, Stones as Axe head, blades from stone, Axe with the stick, food plates and drinking water cup made up of clay.

Different types of Coins:

Q) Is there any difference between present coins and 17th century coins ?

Presently we are using stainless steel with logos of 3 lions, Gandhi, Nehru with light weight.

But on olden days they used Gold, silver, copper are valuable metals and have more weight.

Different types of cloths:

From these pictures, we can understand the 17th century of Human lifestyle. Here different types of cloth are displayed with designs on sarees, door curtains, etc.

Paintings:

These paintings show us the ‘Greatness of Artists’ & explains to us the ancient culture, lifestyle, moral, and more.

Q) How many paintings are in the Bapu Museum?

In my view they have nearly 100 paintings; we could capture about 40 of them. Some paintings were not permitted to capture.
