Local Guides!
The year 2020 is nearing conclusion and the year 2021 is forthcoming, so advance Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Bangladesh Local Guides just recently completed their year end signature meet up program. Today I am coming here to tell something about that meet up program, what I glimpses from social media and this local guides connect. I read every post, viewing every photos, and then I feel inspire to write something for our whole local guides community.
The covid 19 could never stop the Bangladesh Local Guides community from stopping any operation, like they have already completed their signature year end meet up with successfully. In my first photo, I try to show you a Mask with Bangladesh local guide logo, at the present time mask is mandatory for everyone. All Bangladesh local guides wear this mask on that meet up program In this global pandemic time everything is little bit but shut down but in our country we are trying to open everything for active our economy. Bangladesh local guides did their duty in superb way in this global crisis period .
For this meet up program 40 lucky local guides were selected from different districts.
Now, all 40 local guides start their journey from their own places to Sylet ( meet up place ) by Bus , Train and Plane with take all measures to protect themselves from the COVID-19.
All 40 local guides meet with each other at Panshi Rstaurent , after completing their breakfast together and then around 2 hours bus journey they reached their destination point , Jaflong Green Resort a wonder resort for visit . After reaching their resort, they start their first session to visit Jaflong zero pont , Goyain River, Londony Bazar , Kashia polli .
One think I want to include, in this meet up program many new local guides join. The main purpose of this meet up is to give them the information they need about the program and how we can better contribute to the coming year. How to help small businesses around us. Now please see my next photo.
From the above photo many question arise from everyone Like,
Why they sitting together in the winter night?
What benefit they will get from this meeting?
Why they are outside from their families?
How dare them, to attend a program in this pandemic time?
In one sentence and my answer is, they love to do volunteer work, they love to do work with Google local guides banner, they love to do attend this meeting for develop themselves, they are really hungry to contribute more for Google map. Only for these reason they come here. For attending this meet up they buy their bus, train, plane ticket from their pocket money. They arrange accommodation, food, everything by own self , only for their personal interest they organize this such of signature year end meet up program.
In this meet up program all 40 local guides also did Map editing and Tree plantation. Everybody we know why map editing is important. And in this meet up program all 40 local guides did their job very properly, each and every free time they add many new places, edit some missing information and many on.
On the other hand Tree plantation have Ecological & Environmental Value. Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe. And in this meet up program every local guides do their best duty by planting tree, I will show about that on my next photo.
At night , after doing Bar-B-Q party , then they watched movies and then they stayed in TENT .Yes sounds very cool , they stayed in tent . Staying in tent is really adventurous. In my next photo I will show you their tent experience .
In this whole program they eat many local foods like Chunga Pitha , Khirsa , Akhni polao, Khichuri ,Plain Rice , Chicken curry, Fried Vegetable, Normal vegetable , Nun Bora , Puli Ptha Chicken roll , Chicken Roast and Many kinds of stuffs.
Last but not the least, from 2021 we will start a new journey, hope our earth will free from covid 19 and from this meet up program every local guides gathered a huge experiences from each other , and they will implement their all experiences on their next contribution.
