The Staff Welfare Association arranged Independence Fest 2019 for all staff in the icddr,b premises on 18 March 2019. An opening remark by the Executive Director and a discussion session on the Independence of Bangladesh in 1971 took place in the event. The staff enjoyed a cultural programmed performed by icddr,b staff and renowned singer Kona.
