Hello Local Guides,

Kolkata is the Cultural Capital of INDIA and also known as Tilottama. Every year Kolkata celebrates its cultural festivals like Bangla Sangeet Mela ( Bengali Music Festival), Biswabangla Lok Sanskriti Utsab ( Flok Festival) & Poush Utsab which held at Rabindra Sadan - Nandan - Mohor Kunja area. This is the Cultural Hub of West Bengal because of various cultural programs held in this area throughout the year.

In 2020 Bangla Sangeet Mela, Biswabangla Lok Sanskriti Utsab & Poush Mela start from 24th December 2020 & end on 31st December 2020. About 5000 musicians & vocalists participate in this music festival different musicians & vocalists across the Bengal. They perform in auditoriums & open-air stages at Nandan - Rabindra Sadan - Mohor Kunja area.
