I was invited for the Bangalore, India geo walk of kormangala streets on 16.July.2016. At 3pm IST, but no one from Google was present.
Did this even happen some where else or didn’t happen ?

@RajkiranK Hi!, Good to see another user from the same area on the forums. I too had my registration for this event confirmed and went to the venue, but couldn’t locate anyone, so I cancelled my registration after a 15 minute wait.
But, this thread, with a video : https://goo.gl/JDm61b should prove that the event did occur.

There were around 50-100 Guys for this. If you received the invite you must be knowing the place. Checkout the pics of the event.

It was happening at Prost. They had intimated the location through the mail. The event was inside Prost for an hour or so before we set out on the geowalk.

Hi @RajkiranK , I was also preset at the event, as per my knowledge there was a lady who actually organized this event but i am not sure if she was from Google.
Hi @SriramSrinivasaR , This event was at Prost started at 3PM, first there was a introduction about the event which i too missed it, I joined the Geo walk at last minute with other local guides. It was a successful event with around 100 local guides attended and we made around 2000 edits on Google maps, plus added some new places and photos in and around Kormangala.

Yes, there was a Googler present at the event. Maybe you went to a different location @RajkiranK ?

Hi,
The event was organized by the Local Guides team, and the organizer does work with Google. I am happy to see the total number of contributions made on that particular afternoon and enriching Koramangala. Look forward to more of these being organized by the Local Guides across Bangalore.
