Bandra's Iconic Pub Kaitlyn's gets a Relaunch - Dining Photos

Hello Local Guide’s

Happy Monday!

Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden Bandra’s favorite nightout pub has ditched its old look and it is back in an all-new Avatar and today I am sharing my recent dining photos and restaurant review of this place. Located at Hill Road, Bandra West, Mumbai, Kaitlyn’s is an all-day dining experience which serves Bar Food, Continental, Mexican, finger food, Italian and desserts with top-class beverages. They have even revamped their menu with a contemporary twist. I must say the brand has invested enough time and resources to bring this place to life. Personally, for me, they really nailed it with the beautiful ambiance. I loved the whole vibe and the unique Chic French Countryside Decor, it had pastel pleasing colors, elegant furniture, beautiful floral theme, large picture glass windows, and an outstanding bar area with subtle elements to bring in the garden feel placed smartly in the restaurant.

Once you step into Kaitlyn’s Beer Garden you will experience the great ambiance, lovely trendy crowd, lively music and dishes cooked brilliantly in an extraordinary space in a true British style. Here you can pop in for a quick business lunch or hangout with your friends, take your time and enjoy a scrumptious weekend brunch or even bookmark this place as your go to spot for those post office shenanigans. The service was quick with a good well-trained staff. The restaurant had table service with high and low rise comfortable seating areas for private dining experience. They also have tall seats to enjoy your #metime at the bar with light nibbles and special drinks showcasing inhouse cocktails, tap beers and mocktails. Even if you are a non-alcoholic person like me you will still get great but limited options in mocktails which you can try.

Now Coming to the food this is what I tried:

1. Homemade Cheesy Nachos
4*/5
Rs 145
I adore appetizers. Homemade Cheesy Nachos had nice and crisp tortilla chips garnished with cheddar cheese, herbs and presented with creamy Cheese Sauce and Salsa dips. Delicious!

2. VEG APPETIZERS

Zooming into my Veg Appetizers Plate:

1. Cajun Baby Potatoes
5*/5
Rs 325
Mashed crispy fried baby potatoes tossed in cajun spice, lemon juice and chilli and it had a drizzle of spiced mayo. Lip-smacking. Highly Recommended!

2. Hass Avacado Toast
5*/5
Rs 355
The Hass Avacado Toast had garlic toast topped with beetroot spread, guacamole and feta cheese. It had a subtle sweetnees of the beetroot spread and the base was perfectly crisp. Packed with flavors in one single bite and amazing presentation. Highly Recommended!

3. Soy Paneer Chilli
5*/5
Rs 355
Stirred fried soy paneer tossed in soy chilli sauce. The paneer was fresh nice and moist and the sauces were extremely yummy.

4.Homemade Indian style soy paneer tacos
5*/5
Rs 355
Soy paneer cooked in Indian spices served on hung curd topped with onions and soft tortillas. The taste was medium spicy and again a beautifully presented dish. Recommended!

3. NON VEG APPETIZERS

Zooming into my plate of Non Veg Appetizers:

1. Soy Chicken Chilli
5*/5
Rs 375
Perfectly cooked chicken pieces. Stirred fried and tossed in soy chilli sauce. Garnished with fresh spring onions. Recommended!

2. Chicken 65
5*/5
Rs 375
Chicken 65 is normally too hot and spicy and but this version of Chicken 65 is medium spicy. The chicken pieces were crisp, tender and juicy. Well marinated chicken pieces in Indian spices served along with tempered yogurt.

3. Masala Chicken Tacos
4.5*/5
Rs 375
Chicken cooked in Indian spices served on hung curd and soft tortillas. Really liked the gravy of the chicken.

4. Black Pepper Chicken Wings
4.5*/5
Rs 375
For Wing lovers, there are hot black pepper chicken wings. These are spicy wings with a dominant taste of black pepper.

Beverages Mocktails:

1. Minty Lemonade:
Rs 199
5*/5
I made a request to the restaurant of trying something refreshing and minty. The bartender was too kind to twist the normal lemonade into a Minty lemonade and wow look at that beauty. I literally fell in love with this drink. I could have endless refills of this. Highly Recommended!

2. Spiced Basil:
4*/5
Rs 275
Spiced Basil is a very spicy drink. It had prominent hot Thai spices and a strong flavor of Basil. If you like your drink spicy, then this is a must-try. Loved the presentation.
