Hello Mumbaikars, Join me for Mumbai’s next photo walk meetup. I invite you to witness Bandra Feast, at the Basillica of Mount Mary, Bandra. This Fair is very popular in Mumbai and across the world especially with the Indian Catholic diaspora. The feast is starting from 8th September & goes on for a full week. During the Fair, tens of thousands visit the shrine of “Our Lady of Mount” from all over the India. The shrine attracts people from all faiths who pray to Mary in thanksgiving or requesting of favours. Besides the religious experience, Bandra Fair also includes the social experience of relaxing, camaraderie, alms-giving and enjoyment. We will be meeting near Mount Mary Church and from thier start our photo walk meetup. The feast is held in the form of a huge fair, which comprises of huge Ferris wheels, rides and shows. The stalls offer pilgrims varities of sweets. It will be a great meetup where we will be having lots of time to chat, take photos, enjoy the feast and discuss about google map. Who are invited:- Everyone! All LG on any levels or even who wish to join the LG community. It’s a friendly meetup. And, if you don’t want to come alone, you can always bring a friend. Either way, you’ll make few new friends. What do I bring? :- You can bring whatever photography equipment you like or you can show up with just a mobile phone. Dont forget to bring an umbrella or windcheater, as it may rain.
