Ähnliches fällt auch mir oft auf. Manchmal braucht es etwas Zeit, bis das letzte Handeln umgesetzt wurde, manchmal sind ganz viele Orte (oft unsichtbar) auf einer Stelle.
Man entdeckt oft sehr viel Unordnung, wenn man sich einen Platz ganz genau betrachtet und erforscht.

Your proposal is not really new because we already can suggest an edit and close places on Google Maps.
