Baluran Situbondo East Java National Park is a national park with an area of 25,000 hectares. This is a place of nature conservation in the form of protected forests. However, the main area of Baluran tourism is a vast expanse of grassland. Baluran savanna area reaches one third of the total area of the national park, which is 10,000 hectares. Savana Baluran is the largest savanna owned by Java.
To be able to reach this place you can use land or air transportation. From the airport or downtown you will travel overland.
There are not many savanna animals that appear there. But if you are lucky you can see crowds of deer, peacocks or rhinos. The animals that roam there the most are monkeys. So be careful, do not carelessly feed them if you do not want to suddenly many other monkey groups suddenly approached…
