Bali is an island stuffed full of wonders, both man-made and natural. I was lucky enough both to visit Bali in 2018 AND to get connected with the best guide possible. Bali Tour Guide Agung. We spend many days exploring Bali, Agung sharing his magical homeland, tourist-packed temples, and hidden spots only known to the locals. Today we visited the waterfalls at Kanto Lampo.
Here at Kanto Lampo, you are lucky enough to get a personal Waterfall Guide and Photographer, pictured above. I forget his name but remember with fondness his smile and helpfulness. It’s not easy to photograph yourself under the raging falls, especially from 10 meters away!
For me, a native Floridian, any day I can spend swimming, diving, and playing in the water is a good day. Adding in a waterfall, and the day becomes magical! We visited several waterfalls during the roughly 2 weeks I was in Bali, and they all get 5/5 or 10/10 stars from me. They are all different obviously, but when you are swimming inside the powerful waters, everything else in your life seems to be washed away.
I hope you too can take yourself to Bali. There are 10 million reasons to go, including meeting my brother from another mother Agung (picture with me below, he’s sporting the killer mustache; Mr. Bali Tour Guide Agung) and none that I can think of not to. Hugs, and good luck to us all!
@DanniS hello I hope you are well! Can you help me, please? My photos are ending up rotated, ugg. There SHOULD BE easy way to rotate when editing, and I cannot discover why they are doing such. Pretty please help me, thanks!!! (are the portrait images TOO TALL?)
@Sophia_Cambodia and @Velvel ladies thank you for replying! It was one of many waterfall days, I may do a series of blogs about them.
Yes my images are upside down, I cannot find ?WHY? They are perfect until AFTER I publish. There is no way to easily rotate them, I’m shocked Google doesn’t offer that simple edit feature. Is there another trick I can use? I tried to deleted and re-add them. Anywho, I hope you both are healthy and happy today, and every day!
@MichaelSNovilla I see, I don’t really see where to rotate them but perhaps you need to work on original files first before uploading? I don’t have the same problem.
@Sophia_Cambodia what type of work? When I upload them they look fine. I work with 100s of photos every day, use countless web programs, and never have this issue. Anyways, thanks for caring, I’ll solve it. Have a lovely day!
@MichaelSNovilla well, I have no idea. I mean perhaps the files are not straight in the first place so you have to rotate them first. I have never met such issue.
nope they are straight, it’s ok, I’ll solve, thanks @Sophia_Cambodia . I’m reducing their size and that seems to be better, but normally Google has zero issues with ANY of my photos, and I"m uploading 100s every DAY. Hugs!
yes @Velvel I deleted the rotated photos, then edited my photos to be a bit smaller, then loaded again. Everything seems OK now, so I guess my original photos were too large? I wish there was a “Photo Size Limits” guide. Hope you have a nice day today @Velvel
@DanniS I was able to solve by deleting the rotated photos, making a smaller sized version of them offline, then uploading the smaller ones and it seems to be ok. Is there a 2020 photo/video size guidelines somewhere? Who is the person / group to talk to about suggested improvements? thank you @DanniS and have a lovely week!
