Bagore Ki Haveli is a magnificent historical residential building which was built by the Prime Minister of Mewar Shri Amar Chand Badwa in the mid of eighteenth century at Gangaur Ghat in Udaipur Rajasthan.
This Royal edifice a multi storey residence is having numerous bedrooms, washrooms, halls, music rooms, balconies, kitchen and windows, which were renovated and makeover was to preserve its exquisitely beautiful interiors antiquity in the late nineteenth century. It’s one of the most popular edifice among the tourists.
After the death of Prime Minister Shri Amar Badwa it remain under the guardianship of various rulers of Mewar. It served as a Royal guest House before independence and after it was used as a residence by the Rajasthan State Government.
This is a classically built mansion and now a popular Museum and venue for live shows of Rajasthani colorful traditional folk dances and music with the live commentary about the occasions. Museum is displaying the Mewar’s traditional arts and crafts, colorful costumes, puppets, musical instruments, popular painting works etc.
Length of tour remain for one and half hours as one hour for live show and half an hour for museum. Its architectural fantasy attracts the attention of arts and Architecture lovers. It’s a major attraction among the history buffs wanderers soul seekers art and culture lovers. Entry fee is affordable as show is held at 07:00 pm.
