Badrinath Temple is dedicated to
Lord Vishnu which is situated in Distt. Chamoli, Uttarakhand, India. It is on the banks of Alaknanda. The town lies between Nar and Narayana mountain. Badrinath is
located more than 300 km from Rishikesh.The temple and town form 4 Dham and chota 4 Dham
pilgrimage sites. Badrinath has a cold climate almost throughout
the year. The season to visit this place is between May to October only. There are heavy rainfall and
a drop in temperature during the monsoon season in Badrinath. Mana, the last village of India is only 2 kms away from here. It has believed that Pandav have arrived here and passed for heaven.
