Badge Profile not loading

On my new phone, every profile that I click, or my own profile does not load the badge. I saw some posts, but the bagde was not beeing showed. In my case, it won’t load. My maps is updated, but the old version had the same behavior. On my old phone it is normal, showing my level 9 Badge, however in this new phone, there is a white square instated.

Need help to resolve this ! Thanks !!

It looks like a cache problem. Try deleting the data under settings, apps, Maps.

It would be very helpful if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply. Just hitting Reply does not ensure we get notified by email.

Then please share your operating system version and the Maps app version. Also, share info on how long the problem have persisted.

Then tag a Google moderator for help.

Hi @HTCG1 ,

How long has this issue been going on? You mentioned that you can see the Local Guides badge on your old phone. Can you see it on other devices too?

Finally, have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the Maps app and logging out of your profile and logging back in?

Hi, this problem is going on since I bought the phone (1 month).

I cannot uninstall this app, the only thing I can do is revert all updates and make it factory default again.

I did it and made it factory default again, which is version 11.72.0302. In this version, the badges on evaluations are showing ok. The only place now, where my profile badge was never showed is the first pic I sent here. Logout and login profile has been made too, but nothing had changed. I think I must take this phone to samsung authorized dealer. :disappointed:

This is something I’m also experiencing after updating the app a few months ago. To be honest, this is not a big challenge and didn’t affect my usage of the app. I also had some missed parts of the UI previously but those were resolved. So, I think by the next updates this will be solved, too.

I suggest always keeping the app updated to have access to the latest tools, UI, and security changes.

Thanks for your reply ! Was your problem resolved or still remains ? This is very unplesant. You buy a brand new high tech ultra phone and get frustrated like this.

No, the issue exists yet. Not so unpleasant in my opinion! When I see that white square, I know the user is a Local Guide :sweat_smile: Next updates will fix the issue.
