Baby It's Cold Outside

It’s getting cold out there and I’m probably not going to want to go to outdoor events soon, other than hiking. And it can be tough to find things to do that are affordable.

Just a few affordable things to do on the days you don’t want to be out in the cold.

My favorite indoor place to be for now is the Comedy Nest! Very affordable whether it be the entrance ticket or the drinks.

Another indoor activity that I enjoy with kids, friends, family, alone is going to museums. All of them, but mostly the Fine Arts Museum. With kids it’s great going on a Sunday to do the Art workshop which is always based on their current exhibition. First come first serve, it fills up very quickly.

Personally, I enjoy visiting different churches mainly because of the architecture. Some of them may charge you, for example the Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal, I believe it ranges from $15 - $35 depending on what you’re going for.

The Barbie expo is another great free one to visit as long as you have the right company to visit with. At the moment they’re renovating but should be reopened soon enough.

Bota Bota

Spa Finlandais

Are 2 of my favorite places for the bath circuits but Spa Finlandais is so much more special for their rooms and baths.

Spa Finlandais baths and rooms have cured me from headaches to body aches. It maybe costs max $90 after taxes. But I don’t recommend the massages at these places.

Another affordable thing to do is cheap Tuesdays!! The cinema. My favorite is the VIP, instead of $24 it’s about $13. And the regular is about $6.

Biodome

Biosphere

Insectarium

Botanical Garden

Planetarium

Entry price for one of the museums for 1 adult is about $23 for the day

Or you can get a yearly pass for $83 and have access to all, but you do have to reserve online prior to going.

I will continue to add to this as more comes to mind
