Front view of Mosque
প্রায় সাড়ে পাঁচশত বছরের পুরোনো এই বাবা আদম মসজিদ। প্রাচীন রড-সিমেন্ট বিহীন টেরাকোটা ও কারুকাজ খচিত যে কতকগুলো মসজিদ প্রত্নতাত্ত্বিক অধিদপ্তরের আওতাধীন আছে তার অধিকাংশ মসজিদেই নামাজ ও ইবাদত বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে তা সংরক্ষণের স্বার্থে এবং সাথে নিরাপত্তা ঝুঁকি তো আছেই।
আলহামদুলিল্লাহ্ এখনো এই মসজিদে জুম্মাসহ পাঁচ ওয়াক্ত নামাজ চলমান।
মোক্তারপুর ব্রীজ হতে সিপাহীপাড়া মোড় থেকে মাত্র ৭০০ মিটার পশ্চিমে অবস্থিত তিন গম্বুজবিশিষ্ট এই মসজিদটি।

As a person who grew up in Morocco, I am used to see mosques with minarets! However, it doesn’t seem to be the case for this one. When it comes to mosques, do you have several architectural styles in your country, some with minarets and others without?
