Avani is the town of Kolar district, Karnataka State, India. It is constructed in Dravida style. According to Archeological survey of India (ASI), an inscription dated here is 399 A.D. refers to it.

Avani is a place of great antiquity. It is a Adobe of the legend, Hindu Saint Valmiki (author of the epic Ramayana). According to legend the Lord Rama’s sons Lava and Kusha were born here.

These temples look incredible! I am so impressed by how detailed they were able to create the temples even without our modern technology. They really were talented builders back then.
