Autumn is one of my favorite seasons in Kashmir. Especially for all Photography enthusiastic.

If someone is coming to Kashmir by air in any of the seasons, can take Cab from Srinagar’s Sheikh-Ul-Alam International Airport.Then one starts exploring the beauty of Srinagar city and other parts of Kashmir.

The Chinar leave dominate the Kashmir in autumn. There are other trees going through their fall transformation. The Chinar may have been introduced into valley by the Mughals. They made many gardens in Kashmir including Nishat and Shalimaar gardens in Srinagar city. As we know Srinagar is a city of garden, many of them built by the Mughals in the formal style they are so famous for , hundreds of years ago.

Naseem Bagh, part of Kashmir University, which boasts glorious stands of Chinar. This is the oldest Mughal gardens in Kashmir and more than 1000 Chinar trees.

Often, these Chinar trees are found in large spaces like gardens and playgrounds.
Mostly, these dYs children play cricket under those magnificent trees and the leaves get trampled under their feet.
