I’ve been getting quite a lot of automatic “not applied” when trying to suggest edits or adding new place creations.

IWhen you add an edit to Google Maps, it’s reviewed by either local operators, an automated system, or both to ensure the information is accurate and follows our guidelines.

You are getting NOT APPLIED means Google maps team were unable to confidently verify the information you shared at this time. We hope it doesn’t discourage you from being an active Local Guide. Read this topic for more - Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?

Otherwise, Just make sure your inputs before making any edits with all the information.

@ShafiulB So… how else can you report and correct inaccurate data if it is auto rejected when suggesting edits?

I can’t guaranty that your edit will be accepted but I can suggest some best way to send an edit request.

  1. You must be present at the location when you try to edit
  2. Add minimum one photo especially a storefront
  3. In your edit must re-check your inputs like- Marker point, Mobile Number, Address

Don’t repeat your edit at the same time when you got rejected. Re-edit after a minimum of 3 days to one week. Also, check your maps GPS blue dot that shows the accurate where are you located.
