Automated suggestions about places do not work

The places I go no longer show up so I can do reviews. It says I’m all caught up. Then it says turn on auto backup but it’s already turned on. Someone please email me email

Hello @manwiththeplan357

The automated prompt helps to remind you of the places you have visited in the past.
Nevertheless, there is no need to wait for that. You can search for a place you are sure of having visited. Then, you can add a review for that.

Still, to understand your problem in a better, can you confirm whether you can see entries in “Your timeline”?
Else, you need to activate that through settings.

Further, you also need checking whether automatic deletion of the location history is set to “Keep until I deleted that manually”.

Setting Auto backup on or off doesn’t affect the location history.
