We live in the Northwest of England. As I’m a foodie I always love to eat, especially proper south India food. Personally, I have tried all the restaurants in the place I live in. But always ended up with disappointment. After a year long hunt of South Indian restaurant we finally found one restaurant named Thira in Blackburn which is 13miles from the place where we live. They have got a very limited menu but PROPER authentic south India menu. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw chicken 65, the next moment I ordered that. You will not believe I felt a year-long hunt of restaurant worth. Firstly, I was surprised when them welcomed me with Tamil “vanakkam Vaainga”. Though it is a Kerala based restaurant they welcome people very warmly. I loved appam, Kerala paratha, chicken biryani, fish fry, Kerala kolzhi roast is my personal favourite. My 3-year-old daughter’s anytime favourite is Chicken 65 and a Kerala Paratha.
