Myeong-ga Myeon-ok is a great choice to enjoy authentic and tasty Korean dishes not in a “strong” spices. This Korean restaurant is a hidden gem in Kelapa Gading that is recommended. The place is quite comfortable. Before starting with main dish, they will give us a lot variant of Banchan (Korean side dish) freely and can be refilled, such as kimchi, vegetables salad, pajeon, fried squid, radish, sweet cassava, etc. I like their kimchi, pajeon, radish, fried squid.
Here are what we tried :
Samgyepsal (IDR 118,000)
It is a grilled thick, tender, and tasty pork belly. It was already grilled in their kitchen, so that when arrived at our table, it was ready to eat. This also my first time eating meat in Korean style by wrapping the meat along with grilled garlic and sauce into the lettuce. That was so great!
Tteok Bok Ki (IDR 98,000)
Stir-fried rice cake served with fish cake, vegetables, and thick red sauce that is not spicy. The portion is huge. Suitable for sharing among 2-4 persons.
Jeop Si Man Du (IDR 15,000/pcs)
Steamed Korean dumpling with thick filling of minced pork. It is so good and recommended! And better to eat it directly as it still hot or warm. I definitely will come back to Myeong-ga for Joep Si Man Du and trying another dish
