Here are some hints to find out places:

  • It is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
  • It is the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere.
  • It is described by its operators as the Southern Hemisphere’s only giant observation wheel.
  • It is Australia’s oldest art museum.
  • It was built in 1879 and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • It hosts 13,000 individual fishes of more than 700 species.
  • It was originally built to honor the men and women who served in World War 1 and now serves as a memorial for everyone who has served in any war.
  • It was sketched by Samuel Thomas Gill in 1854.
  • It is one of the first FREE libraries in the world.
  • It houses the chambers of the Lord Mayor of Sydney.

What is the Explore the Maps Challenge?

Every week, we will share with you the icons of famous places of any one country. All you have to do is find this icon on Google Maps. When you find that place, you must submit the location’s link to it in our challenge form.

The fascinating part is that if you’ve ever visited that place, don’t forget to share a photo with us so that our Local Guides friends may see it through your eyes as well.

Note: Please don’t post your answers publicly. So we can make this challenge a little more interesting.

This is a great challenge and also a learning session because you discover many places that didn’t knew about before. 9 is :star_struck::star_struck:Museum, the largest and historical Museum situated in the :star_struck: Gardens. @NareshDarji for sharing

Hi @NareshDarji

The links to the places keep on constantly changing for users. When I select the “share” option, the link is different. In your Google Form, the link is matching answers and since the links keep on changing, the answers are not accepted.

Can you please take a look?
