I have got an opportunity to work in Switzerland for a year where I have done most of my contribution to google maps as local guide. In the beginning I was just posting the photos without knowing how the local guide concept exactly work. I slowly understood the concept and then it was really exiting for me. So wherever I traveled in Switzerland and in Europe I used to take photos and post it in google maps.
By doing this activity it encouraged me to write a blog to post it in the Facebook . This small writing about Switzerland had given me to express my best ever experience I had as a traveler, and I am thankful to goggle for encouraging the local guides to explore their talents. Adding the blog below.
Au revoirβ¦ Switzerland.β
The time has come to say good bye to the heaven on earth. Switzerland. A veritable playground for nature lovers. It was a dream come true to live in Switzerland, a mountainous Central European country. Home to numerous lakes, villages and the high peaks of the Alps. A truly wonderful experience working and living in this beautiful land, which provides the highest living standards. The fifth happiest country in the world. You actually experience all the Seasons, which are clearly distinguishable. In Autumn, the fruit ripens and the leaves of deciduous trees changes colour, the Winters were generally cold and snowy, In Spring the trees blossom and the meadows turn green. Finally, the ultimate Summer with clear skies, lots of outdoor activities, carnivals and cultural festivals season when most of the tourists visit Switzerland from all over the world.β
The Swiss journey has loads of memories, travelling by train, bus or boat anad watching the scenic beauty is as exciting as it is equally relaxing. The Swiss have their public transportation system down to a science. The trains and buses are on time down to the second and can get across the whole country with just one ticket that works for multiple kinds of transportation. The best part of the public transportation is that it is incredibly clean.β
Having a Schengen visa is the door to all the EU countries without any border control, which helped to make quick plans in the weekend and pack the bag. Having traveled to 14 countries, nearly 10,000 km road trips was a great experience. Overcoming the initial hiccups of driving fully automated cars, driving right side of the road and giving attention to all the signals was challenging. The opportunity to see and feel the Europe cities and culture was amazing. There is something alluring about doing a road trip in Europe. I cannot imagine anything better than a long drive in Europe with friends. Driving through the scenic roads and enjoying various landscapes of Switzerland, France & Netherlands, the straight high ways in Italy, the no speed limit motorways in Germany and driving on the sea shore of Adriatic Sea in Croatia. β

The day-to-day life in Switzerland has many things to remember. Waking up in the morning and a nice view of Evian town, France on the other side of Lake Geneva. Croissants become the breakfast, Good Morning & Good evening replaced by Bonjour & Bonsoir, experiencing -4 temperature was something unique, playing in the snow was fun, walking to the office everyday was refreshing and healthy, working in a beautiful place and office, located at the shore of Lake Geneva was too relaxing. The joyous moment of the family trip, finally the best thingout of all these is having a Swiss bank account β

Overall, a great experience. β
