Saint Petersburg , whatever i will say about this city , sure not enough
it is one of best and beautiful cities in the world
rich with great history & places which improve how this city really great
St. Petersburg is the cultural and historical heart of Russia and have special taste in each thing or places
i will try to tell you some favorite places in saint petersburg & also i will make separated posts for each places
even i know this city have more and more secrets
also i love to visit it during summer to see the white night , when sky always white even at night
in points i will tell you most beautiful places for me and sure anyone can add more or talk about what he like :
1- Hermitage Museum , a museum so large, it is literally impossible to see it all in one day ( i spent 2 days visiting )
2- Nevsky Prospect - beautiful Nevsky Avenue , very rich street with restaurants, churches, and palaces, and a great place for people watching amazing architecture of this beautiful city
3- Peter and Paul Fortress - and inside this you will see the oldest church in Saint Petersburg ( Peter & Paul Cathedral )
4 - Palace Square - when you can have very beautiful photos especially if you travel in group
5- Peterhof palace - and some people said it is Versaille Russia , so many beautiful gardens , Fountains ( i think 150 ) and very recommended to visit
6 - Vasilyevsky Island - nice place to walk and enjoy the view
7 - Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood - and you can say this is the Iconic of Saint Petersburg plus amazing interior design as you will never seen before
8 - Saint Isaac’s Cathedral - there is 2 parts , the cathedral and tower , from the tower you will have amazing view and making a nice photos for this amazing city
9 - Kazan Cathedral - i think it is the biggest in Saint Petersburg
10 - night cruise - and you can see the bridges when open at 2:00 AM and enjoy the river view
11 - Catherine Palace
12 - The Trinity Cathedral , sometimes called the Troitsky Cathedral with the blue dom and amazing outer design
