The Sagrada Familia Church or the Holy Family Church, which is a Roman Catholic Church, is one of the largest churches in Europe, located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Its construction began in 1882, and although its construction was not completed, it was chosen in 2007 from the list of Spain’s treasures. i think this the reason to make this church one of best touristic places in Barcelona and also because it is designed by the famous architect Antonio Gaudi
It is now one of the most attractive places for Barcelona tourists who can visit the completed parts of it
Construction work is believed to be permanently completed in 2026, 100 years after Gaudi’s death
unfortunately i cant visit the church from inside due to huge number of visitors , in each time i been in Barcelona
i hope i can visit it once , in my next travel to Catalonia

It’s worth the wait to get in next time you get back to Catalonia. You can buy tickets for certain times and that’ll help you get in. I’ve added pictures of the inside.

In the past, I used to live in Perpignan, which is less than two hours by car from Barcelona and I used to go there very often!
Apart of the Sagrada Familia, what else did you enjoy in Barcelona? One of my favorite places is the Gothic quarter, have you been there?
Did you have a paella at a restaurant close to the port or the ramblas?
