Attractions in BHUTAN...Part-6 : Tashichho Dzong Viewpoint

In Bhutan, all 20 districts have their own fortress called Dzong. Tashichho Dzong is the fortress of Thimphu district which is the capital of Bhutan. There are several Buddhist temples and government offices inside this fortress.

This viewpoint is one of the most desirable sites where we can get a magnificent panoramic view of Tashichho Dzong and its surrounding rice fields. We can also get the view of Supreme court of Bhutan, National Assembly of Bhutan, Buddha Dordenma Statue and the mountains around the Thimphu city. It is only a few minutes drive from the main capital city.

It seems to be a good idea to visit twice i.e. during the day and at night to enjoy both day and night scenes. This is an ideal location for all the photographers to capture the best shots of the fortress.
