I’m relatively new to the Local Guides program and the Portland area myself. I’m excited about being a part ot the Local Guides program and would love to meet other Local Guides as well. I hope to see more interest from others so we can have more fun with this program!

I agree it would be great to meet some other local guides in the PDX area. I am totally obsessed with the 360 images and showcasing the awesomeness that is PDX and the Northwest.

A PDX Local Guide meet up would be awesome! Does anyone have any recommended places or times? Maybe we could look at doing a recurring monthly get together and we can pick a new location each time.

Hi Diana. I know a few SF-based Local Guides including myself who will be traveling to Portland around November. I will happily tag them in this thread but can’t seem to figure out how. Does tagging work in this forum?

@KeithA yes, you can tag them, simply type the “@” then you’ll see some suggestions come up. Hope that helps!

@KeithA yea adding Kim is impossible since she has a middle initial (unless she participates in the post)

@MartinM_1 I heard that sometime guides meet up for a meal (brunch/dinner) and go on a photo walk after, others set up happy hours at local bars. I think it would be nice to get a group of people that are interested in meeting up we could plan an outing.
