Attended an Iftar

A friend of ours invited me to attend their iftar. Iftar is derived from the Arabic word ‘futur’. Futur means to have light meal. In Islamic Shari’ah terminology, breaking the fast by eating or drinking something after sunset is called iftar. We joined a restaurant in Dhaka. I am sharing the Iftar dishes here.

Location: Sajna Restaurant, Banani, Dhaka.

@GaziSalauddinbd Thanks for your comment and guidance.

It all looks very tasty, I see fried food is very common.
Here in Italy, dietitians have it removed from all diets.

Too bad because it is very good but not very digestible.

Thank you for sharing this information and these beautiful photos @SanjayBDLG
