Athens, Greece - So much beauty!

I visited Greece as a solo traveler in November of 2017. It was honestly one of the most amazing experiences because I had planned an entire itinerary prior to heading there with a few free “explore” days. These are some of the photos from some excursions in Athens. I visited the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus, local restaurants, toured by foot and some random explorations. I will make a separate post for Mycenae, and Stentorian! So beautiful! Life is short, if you want to take a trip and have no one to go with, please, STILL GO! Solo traveling is one of my favorite ways to travel. I think everyone should try it at least once in their lives, its liberating and a little scary but so rewarding! If you have any questions feel free to ask! ?

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in my post. I think my best piece of advice for solo travelers, is to simply be prepared. When you travel in groups, it’s easy to rely on one another if say your phone dies, or your short on cash. As a solo traveler, you should always be prepared for any scenario! Be sure to carry a portable charger, extra cash (not too much) and a map! It’s important to know where you hotel is and where you are going! Be safe, and enjoy your time away. Solo traveling will bring out your inner independence!

Thank you for your advice @katkev1 , you’re right. Also, the more you are traveling solo, the more tenacious you become. Overcoming a difficult situation is another tip that you’ve learnt!

Thank once again for the post and a tip for next time: please tag me with the @ sign every time you want someone to see you respond (as I did with your name at the beginning of the post).
