Asked to pay to receive Google Maps Pin

I received a note from my post that I am supposed to pay 5EUR to receive my free google maps pin. I thought that it is supposed to be free.

Maybe someone can help answer me this before it is returned to the sender @MashaPS @InaS @DeniGu @Ivi_Ge

Sorry about that affair of paying to obtain your gift. You did well to write a post here,but as a rule you shouldn’t tag more than one moderator at ago.

Now kindly wait patiently while we escalate the issue with the team.

Sorry to hear that @manolopoulaki , but you already did the best possible thing: tag a Google Moderator, so the team can escalate it. By the way: just tagging 1 Google Moderator is enough - those messages then land in some kind of common pool where they all have access to.

By the way (as I noticed that you are from Austria): have you heard about the upcoming big Meetup of local guides in Munich (June 22-25)? A great opportunity to meet fellow local guides from all over Europe!
