There are so many good choices when it comes to Asian cuisine in Oklahoma City. Just drive down Classen and you’ll see several Pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) places and you pretty much can’t go wrong with any of them. Pho Cuong is my personal favorite the pho there has a very clear and delicate flavored broth. The family that runs it is really friendly and they add new things to the menu every once in a awhile. My family also loves Grand House for a quick, filling and inexpensive lunch. It’s Cantonese style food and sushi. You can also go on the weekends for an amazing Dim Sum experience. Outside the Asian district there is a great family owned restaurant on MacArthur called Cantons. It’s hole in the wall exterior and older decor may make this feel like a dive but the food is excellent. The egg rolls here are arguably the best I’ve ever had. The family that runs it makes you feel like family. It’s family style dining except for the lunch specials which average 6$ with hot tea. For Thai food my go to is Tana Thai right outside The Village on May avenue. The pineapple fried rice is my favorite item on the menu. I also love their Pad See We. It’s a really great place and it’s open pretty late for take out. In Edmond on Broadway Wahaha is definitely worth a try. In an old Taco Bell it doesn’t look like much from the outside by step inside and smell the fresh handmade noodles and sauces cooking. I’ve never ordered anything here I didn’t like. And it’s one of the few places in the city that serves Tako Yaki. My last must try place in the metro is Tokyo in Nichols Hills. This is the best sushi in the metro hands down and great traditional Japanese food. They have a full bar and carry lots of Japanese imported beers and Saki. It’s usually pretty crowded so get here early for dinner. These are just a few of the amazing Asian food choices in OKC. I’ll probably write about a few more of my favorite next week.

@Annar541 Awesome!!! I will have to try some of these next time we go through Oklahoma City. Can you believe we drove to Pryor, OK just for Pizza at Sam&Ellas Chicken palace last year? You’ll have to let me know exactly which one I need to go to ![]()
Sam and Ella’s is worth the drive. The gelato shop next door to it is good to. Plus the college campus is nice to walk around on
