Artistic Ramen Noodles of Mendokoro Gaku, Mito city.

Today, I want to introduce my favorite Ramen Noodle shop in my town.

Mendokoro Gaku“麺処学” is a Ramen Noodle shop located in Yoshizawacho“吉沢町”, southern part of Mito city. This shop opened in may 2017. The owner of this shop Mr.Kazuki Tanaka, serves a various nonchemical seasoning ramen noodles to the customers.

My first visit to Mendokoro Gaku“麺処学” was on July 2nd of 2018 and I ordered Chilled Fresh Sea Bream Ramen“冷やし鮮魚鯛らぁめん”. At the first glance, I was very surprised. Because the arrangement of the ingredients was so beautiful that I have never seen before. Also the taste of ramen noodles and the soup was excellent too. After the first visit, I have started to visit this shop periodically.

The regular menu of ramen noodles of Mendokoro Gaku“麺処学” are Gaku ramen“学らぁめん”,Pure chicken ramen“純鶏らぁめん“,Gaku Black ramen“学BLACKらぁめん“,Dried fish ramen”煮干しらぁめん“.

Gaku ramen“学らぁめん” is the basic ramen and you can choose soy sauce soup and salt taste soup. The soup is made from chicken and dried fish and vegetables. The ingredients on the ramen are roasted pork fillet and roasted chicken fillet, Himetake“姫竹”, half boiled egg, chopped onion, boiled spinach, radish sprouts, rock nori“岩海苔”.

Pure chicken ramen“純鶏らぁめん“ is also the basic ramen and you can choose soy sauce soup and salt taste soup. The soup is made from chicken. The ingredients on the ramen are roasted pork fillet and roasted chicken fillet, Himetake“姫竹”, half boiled egg, chopped onion, boiled spinach, radish sprouts, rock nori“岩海苔”.

Gaku black ramen“学BLACKらぁめん“ is one of a regular menu which soup is made from rich Soy sauce. Most black ramen uses fish sauce for the soup, but the soup in this shop is different in that it uses Kamebishi Company’s three years brewed soy sauce. Since it does not use fish sauce, it has no peculiar odor. The ingredients on the ramen are roasted pork fillet and , ear menma”穂先メンマ“, half boiled egg, chopped onion.

Dried fish ramen”煮干しらぁめん“ is also one of a regular menu which soup is made from four different dried fish as thread-sale filefish, sardine, round herring, Japanese anchovy. You can enjoy the flavors of these four types of dried fishes. The ingredients on the ramen are roasted pork fillet and roasted chicken fillet, half boiled egg, sliced onion, radish sprouts.

In addition to the regular menu, sometimes limited menus are created. It’s not bad to eat from the limited menu, but before eating the limited menu, I will suggest to eat from the normal menu first.

If you have a chance to visit Mito, I recommend eating ramen at this shop.

Twitterでも度々紹介されている麺処学さんですね!以前から気になっていて、行ってみたい場所に登録しています。こうやって見るとどれも個性的かつ美味しそうで、一度行くだけではとても満足できそうにありません・・・。いい意味で困りますね :grin:

ありがとうございます。早速リストにメモを追加しておきました。基本的に初めての店では看板メニューを頼むことにしているので学らぁめんからにしようかと思いますが、今から楽しみです!

ユニークな記事ありがとうございます。写真だけを見ると食べたくなります。ラーメンの種類いっぱいあるしとても美味しそうです。もしいつかにチャンスがあれば麺処学にラーメンを味わってみたいです。
