Helping other people is my passion. I enjoy making other people happy, I love saving lives. I am a pediatric travel nurse that has been traveling around the world impacting so many people’s lives. Not everyday is smiles and laughs in a hospital. There are days where you experience the waterfall flowing amounts of tears coming down from the mothers face and the yelping cry you hear when she just lost her child. I am the PICU nurse that is there at the bedside fighting for that child’s life to the very last minute. I am then there to console this mother who doesn’t know how she is going to live another day without her child.
Being a Google Local Guide is where I get to help people from my own experiences, always on a positive happy note. I love making people smile everyday. I enjoy knowing that I made a difference in someones day, for the better.
Wherever I go while I’m traveling, I like to travel like a local. Even if it’s my first time in a new place, I love reading others reviews on what would make me feel like a local in this new location. This is why I love giving back so much. I value other peoples reviews on a place which helps enhance my experiences and find hidden “insta worthy” photo spots. I love helping the next person find the same spot, or find that cute local mom and pop shop that isn’t even listed anywhere on the maps yet, or find the best place to park, or if parking is free, or even what kind of shoes to wear on a certain hike (and explain my level of fitness)! I love being as detailed as possible so I can help someone else enjoy their experience to the fullest while traveling. I love posting photos and videos to give someone else that live experience so they know exactly what they are getting into by going to the place I’d be reviewing.
All in all, I truly have a passion for helping people, whether that’s at work or in my day to day adventurous life, no matter where I am in the world. Thanks for having such a wonderful Local Guide Community that allows me to help others and enjoy life like a local!
