Argentina's North colors and tradition

Argentina has a incredible variety of landscapes, coasts full of animals, jungles, rivers, ice mountains, glaciers, deserts, and more.

The states in the north are very beautiful and full of culture and tradition. Here are 3 analog photos captured in a small travel I did a couple of months ago through Jujuy and Salta.

This region is the origin of many traditions and modifications of other ones, for example: “Empanadas Salteñas” have many flavors, including Llama’s meat. The connection with music and dances in these cities is incredible, and you can find dancers everywhere at any time, because of this you can connect with the region’s ancient roots in a more human way than reading books or watching a documentary.

Through the clothe’s colors and textures (always handmade) you can feel the love for tradition and their respect for the nature and environment. The technology and new materials came in the last decades, but the process to obtain poncho’s colors exist since centuries.

All the landscapes in this region worth the time invested. Geology is a subject that many locals domain, because the strange shapes in the mountains that produce exposure of colors and soil.

Tourists from all the world come here to see these marvelous and experience the magic.

Saludos Farid.
