I’m currently going to level 8 but I haven’t received any encouragement from Google yet. Even one mail is enough to encourage me Neither have I yet received the perks that are given to local guides

@Safeerkhan Looking at your profile here in Connect and also on Maps, I can confirm you’re already registered as a Local Guide.
Perks don’t have any level requirements, or any schedule with regards on who gets them. When a perk is available in your area, you will get notified by email. No pattern.
The best thing you can di right now is make sure your Local Guides profile has the right location, and also the box for Rewards is checked to make sure you’ll get notified if there are perks available for you in the future. You can access the Local Guides profile from the link below. Make sure to sign in using your Local Guides account.

Hi, @Safeerkhan ! I second @iyudhi 's suggestions. Another point to remember is that your contributions to Google Maps should also be thoughtful, authentic, and accurate - ensuring your contributions are consistently of quality is vital to how we help others.

As long as you can see your level on your Maps profile page and you can write a post here on Connect you are for sure a local guide.

Or could it be that you use different accounts?
