areas of interest in google maps

I would like to know how to add an area of interest into google maps Reno, NV. There are other areas of interest or districts but, one is missing.

How do areas/districts of interest get added to google maps? I have tried lots of ways with no luck.

Hi @thomss

Iā€™m afraid we as local guides are unable to suggest edits to those new lists. But you could try sending feed back. I did that a long time ago. But nothing happened. I also raised the issue here on Connect. Also to no avail.

You can find the discussion in the comments under this post.

But I did notice some improvements were done to some lists recently. I believe they are made by hand by someone without a lot of local insight.
