It was a serious question, but an easy answer for me. I am living to eat! When I first use the Google Maps, I was shocked that Maps can take me to anywhere I wish. As a person who loves to travel and especially eat, I have the chance to introduce myself to new worlds.
What makes my chances even more special is that, I live in a unique city that unites Asia and the European continent. İstanbul, Turkey. It is the city where spices and different flavors of Asia meet the Mediterranean’s fresh green cuisine and the traditional tastes of Europe.
When I saw the chicken, which was flavored with Asian spices, on the pizza of Europe, was served with the arugula of the Mediterranean’s I wished everyone would see that food and human creativity combined cultures and which was became my first source of motivation. I definitely believe that a meal is not just a simple few materials, but a common work of different cultures and our history.
I am living to eat. As a Local Guide my purpose is to introduce new places, new cultures and different tastes to people. And the ones who discover new flavors are the ones who create new flavors. For this reason, I aim to share more food photos and my comments and also share the beauties of my city, İstanbul, so that I can inspire others.
