What about setting up a social media private group for Irish Local Guides and get as many as possible into it? It would make it far easier to communicate and arrange events, etc.

I do think connect has a lot to improve on in terms of arrange events and communicating but if we set up another way to arrange meetups. It would not benefit local guides over all, what happens when Irish people join local guides after we setup a private group on another social media. Finally there is a Dublin local guides on Google+

That would be the easiest way to start.

I’m based in Kerry and a trip to Dublin for an event I have no idea how many people will show up wouldn’t make sense. :slight_smile:

I am hosting a Lovely Listowel Photo Walk this weekend in…you’ve guessed it…Listowel, Co. Kerry! If any of you guys are free to join it would be great to meet you (I’m hoping to get at least one more attendee that @Stuart 's first attempt). It’s on Saturday morning from 11am - 1pm and will take in a Castle, a River, a Park and some beautiful streets!

It will also tie in with the World Wide Map Edit Walk organised by @HelloSamsonR .

I’m looking forward to a great morning. Looking forward to seeing you there(?).
